I reached out to Carla at the height of the pandemic and was struck by her honesty and passion for her business and her clients. We didn’t even discuss details of my wedding for a good 45 minutes because I was so drawn to listening to her passionately describe the industry, planning services, and what she loves most about her job and her peers. Our makeup artist recommended her services, despite me initially thinking I wouldn’t need a coordinator. I couldn’t have been more wrong and more grateful that I listened and set up that initial consultation. We booked the “Peace of Mind” package with Carla for our wedding and it was exactly as described. I consistently heard from others how calm I was during the planning process and the day of the wedding – all of that credit goes to Carla. I am a planner at heart and have a bit of an A-type personality and she’s so good, I felt no need to be hyper-involved or follow up. She took care of EVERYTHING and more. Not only is she strong at planning, her network is extensive and that was critical when we needed to chat with vendors and get everyone ready for the wedding. I had two looks I wanted to execute and her experience working with African brides really made transitioning during the reception and structuring the day to allot time for additional photos was so good. I actually got to enjoy time with my new husband, despite brides telling me that we wouldn’t get to see each other much because we’d have to much to do and people to see. Carla heard my desire to make this about us and designed a timeline that allowed for that to happen. Simply put, our wedding was spectacular because Carla executed to perfection. We were so proud to have her share in our joy and be a part of her 10th year of operation as the owner of Details Made Simple.
