You have to book Carla for your wedding. I’m good at project planning and was pretty on top of my wedding game and didn’t see the point of a wedding coordinator, but my mother in law insisted that I hire one. I interviewed a few coordinators and knew from our initial consultation that I’d hire Carla. And omg, she was my absolute vendor to work with. Total godsend. In hindsight, I think I’d pay her double what she charges (and I was a bride on a budget who didn’t think I needed a coordinator). She is super organized, asked questions that I hadn’t even though of, and had amazing suggestions. She is also incredibly responsive, good at following up with you and your vendors, and totally talented at helping you stay on track. And she’s amazing in a crisis. My church was crazy, and Carla handled it with the utmost grace and professionalism, even hand-delivering some forms for us during business hours. Carla followed up with all my vendors, freeing me to focus on all my other to-dos. She made my wedding day an absolute breeze, even my father-in-law (who doesn’t care about this stuff) was singing her praises! She took care of little things you don’t think about (getting bags to seats for the bridal party/families, reserving the front pews for your VIP’s, fixing boutonnieres, fixing hair, etc…) – everything went off without a hitch (which probably isn’t true, but I didn’t see it and didn’t have to worry about a thing). When my hair began to fall, Carla was there with bobby pins and hair spray. She was in the trenches with my bridesmaids figuring out my french bustle with a bajillion buttons. It rained on my wedding day, leaving us less time for photos and a lot of downtime at our venue…Carla ordered us pizza. Some of the decorations were off – I just mentioned it to Carla, and she took care of it without me having to search the venue for help. Carla absolutely took all the pressure off of my wedding day and made it amazing. Just book her ♥.
